Miss Birdie has gone soft!

In easter of 2024 I tried Miss Birdie bun and it was great. This year, 2025, I purchased another bun, but it was way too soft, Miss Birdie has gone soft! The bun had so much moisture that the knife could hardly cut through it without the bun completely sticking to the knife. Miss Birdie; what went wrong, where is quality control, did the baker left? I am not sure if I just got one from a really terrible batch, but, I will never purchase another Miss Birdie bun again!
